Ending the Year Strong with Give!Guide
Virginia Garcia is participating in Willamette Week’s 2025 Give!Guide as part of our 50th anniversary celebration. We aim to raise $70,000 to support our Mobile Health Program, which brings high-quality, culturally appropriate care directly to the community. Giving runs from November 1 through December 31.
Special Opportunities for Virginia Garcia Donors
Donors who give $500 or more in November will be entered to win one of ten private wine tastings for 8–10 guests at Rose and Fern Cellars, and donors who give $100 or more will be entered into a separate drawing for an additional private tasting. Give $25 or more receive a free taco from ¿Por Qué No? Taqueria and take advantage of a matching gift opportunity on Giving Tuesday that doubles your impact.
Big Give Days
Throughout the campaign, Give!Guide will host special Big Give Days, offering prizes to anyone who donates $10 or more on those designated days. Be sure to follow our email updates and social media for additional giveaways and exclusive incentives.
A New Chapter in Sheridan
In October, Virginia Garcia celebrated the grand opening of our new Sheridan Clinic. This clinic brings vital health care access back to West Yamhill County after the previous clinic closed in early 2024, leaving more than 5,000 low-income individuals in the region without local health care.
The clinic offers medical, dental, mental health, and pharmacy services in a newly renovated 2,800 sq. ft. accessible space. The entrance and interior were remodeled to meet current ADA standards, ensuring every patient can receive care safely and comfortably.
With its close proximity to Sheridan High School, the clinic will also support future Workforce Development opportunities, introducing local students to careers in health care.
This project marks another significant milestone for Virginia Garcia. It is the first clinic remodel managed entirely by our own staff—a testament to our growing capacity to lead projects like this in-house. About 60 community members and partners joined us to celebrate the opening of the clinic.
Food Assistance in our Community
Due to the ongoing government shutdown, SNAP benefits were delayed on November 1, leaving many Oregon families temporarily without access to the food assistance they rely on. Although benefits have since been restored, the disruption highlighted a reality that food insecurity is a constant challenge for many of our patients.
Virginia Garcia’s Patient Support Flex Funds help bridge that gap. Through this program, our care teams can provide grocery gift cards directly to patients facing food insecurity, ensuring that families have access to food when emergencies or unexpected barriers arise.
The generosity of our supporters makes this possible. By donating through the button below, you can help deliver support to families who need it most and alleviate hunger in our community.
